Who we are
This website is operated by Phoenix Petroleum Limited, Lysaker Torg 15, 1366 Lysaker, Norway. For privacy matters, contact [email protected].
What we collect
When you submit the enquiry form, we collect the information you provide: name, company, email address, telephone number (optional), capability of interest, location and the content of your message. We also receive the submission time and a truncated browser user-agent string for security and troubleshooting.
Our web server may record standard technical logs, including IP address and requested pages, as part of normal hosting operations.
Why we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and manage any resulting commercial relationship.
- To protect the website against spam, abuse and fraudulent submissions.
- To meet legal, accounting and regulatory obligations where applicable.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not add enquiry contacts to marketing lists without a separate opt-in.
Legal basis
Where you submit an enquiry, processing is based on your consent and on the legitimate interest of responding to a business request. Where a contract is formed, processing may also be necessary for its performance.
Retention
Enquiry records are retained for up to 24 months unless a longer period is required by law or an active commercial relationship. Server logs are retained for a shorter operational period.
Sharing
We share data only with service providers who support our website, email and IT infrastructure, and only where they are bound by appropriate confidentiality and data-processing terms. We may disclose information where required by law.
Cookies
This website uses only the storage strictly necessary to operate the contact form securely (a session cookie containing a form token). We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to processing, or request restriction. Email [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).
Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including access controls, transport encryption and restricted retention. Please avoid sending confidential technical data through the website form.
Changes
We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top of this page indicates the most recent revision.
